Opening list views in Sage 200 causes the program to crash

This guide explains the steps to follow if the program crashes when opening list views.

Description

When opening list views in the Sage 200 program such as Customer list, supplier list etc, the system may crash without any error message, this can be down to a corrupt file on the system.

Resolution

To resolve:


   1. Close out of the Sage 200 program.

   2. Navigate to C:\Users\*USER*\AppData\Roaming\Sage200.

TIP: *USER* is the Windows user account name you are logged into.

   3. Rename the Sage.MMS.Desktop.Common.Resources.dll file to Sage.MMS.Desktop.Common.Resources.OLD.

   4. Reopen Sage 200 and try loading a list view.
