Prompt to take a backup of a clients

Summary

You can switch the prompt to take a backup of a clients on or off

Resolution

The back up prompt is switched on/off by going to

  1. Click Tools
  2. Open Workstation Settings
  3. Select General
  4. Tick or untick the Prompt to Backup Dataset when closing?

    TIP: If the box is ticked, you can also set the number of days between being prompted to backup a client.


If Prompt to Backup Dataset on Closing is unticked and the backup prompt still appears, this is because the prompt is still ticked in the background.

  1. Tick the prompt on a close dataset
  2. Re-open the client 
  3. Close dataset
  4. Untick the prompt on a close dataset
