Sage 200 Standard / Sage for Education - Demo data usage policy

Summary

To support users of Sage 200 Standard / Sage for Education we have incorporated a demonstration company accessible at any point when using the program. This additional functionality will allow users to process data for the purpose of testing or training that will not affect the live data set.

Description

As per the product helpfiles, access to demonstration data is granted with certain usage limits and parameters, details are below:

Resolution

Sage 200 Standard / Education
  • Database size is capped at 1gb.
  • We will monitor the size of demonstration data you are using, if the data is above the limit, we will contact you to advise and give you a choice;
    1. Delete demo data and set up the original demo data, which is under the data limit.
    2. Pay a charge of £10/gb per month charge.

      NOTE: Please note that we reserve the right to reset demonstration data during one of our product maintenance windows, details are in your product terms on our legal pages.

  • Demonstration data is for you to use, to trial new features and test scenarios before committing them in your live data.
  • No technical support or data repair will be undertaken on demo data, if there are issues we will guide you in deleting and setting up the demonstration data again.
  • Certain features such as backup & restore are disabled within Demonstration data.

If you're unable to find the help you require from our online resources, log a new case with us without having to use phone or email. Simply select 'Manage your cases' from the dashboard or visit my.sage.co.uk/cases.
