This guide outlines how to restore a backup in Sage Practice Solutions.
Restoring a Sage Practice Solution (SPS) backup will replace everything that is currently in your SPS database
To restore a backup:
- Make sure everyone is out of SPS
- Take a backup of the current data. Please see this article for advice on taking a backup.
- Copy the backup to be restored into the default backup location. This will depend on whether you have a 64 or 32 bit version of Windows:
- 64 bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Sage Practice Solution\Server\SQLBackups
- 32 bit: C:\Program Files\Sage\Sage Practice Solution\Server\SQLBackups
- Select File, Restore
- Select the backup to restore and click Restore.
