The following steps assume you've set up Sage 50 Accounts and integrated it with Microsoft 365. If you're using Sage 50 Accounts v28 and above, you don't need to link Microsoft 365 to use this feature. 

To allow or remove access for users to the Sage Dashboard, you can Manage access to the Sage Dashboard.

Resolution

Prepare your data

Before you use the Sage Dashboard for the first time, your data must sync three times in order to create and populate the required workbooks. If required, you can manually sync your data.


Open the Sage Dashboard

  1. Sign in to Microsoft 365 with the original admin login that you used to activate Microsoft 365.
  2. Select the app launcher, then click All apps or Explore all my apps.
  3. Scroll down to Other then click Sage Dashboard then click Sign in with your Microsoft 365 ID.
  4. When the Sage Dashboard opens, if you've more than one company uploaded to Microsoft 365, in the drop-down click the company you want to work with.
  5. To view Receivables, Payables or Revenue and Expenses, click the required tab to the right of your company name.


View Receivables

In this tab you can see a breakdown of overdue sales. All values appear in your base currency.

Overdue Sales by Period

For each month, this shows the balance of overdue sales invoices as at the end of the period.

  • To show a breakdown of your current overdue balance, click the bar for the current month. A breakdown by ageing period appears to the right of the bar chart.
  • To see a further breakdown by account, click the required ageing period. This opens the Accounts Overdue area.
Accounts Overdue

This shows the five customers with the highest balances for the ageing period currently selected in Overdue Sales by Period.

Transactions for [account]

Towards the bottom of the dashboard, you can see all overdue transactions for the customer currently selected in Accounts Overdue.

View Payables

In this tab you can see a breakdown of overdue purchase invoices. All values appear in your base currency.

Overdue Purchases by Period

For each month, this shows the balance of overdue purchase invoices as at the end of the period.

  • To show a breakdown of your current overdue balance, click the bar for the current month. A breakdown by ageing period appears to the right of the bar chart.
  • To see a further breakdown by account, click the required ageing period. This opens the Accounts Overdue area.
Accounts Overdue

This shows the five suppliers with the highest balances for the ageing period you clicked in Overdue Purchases by Period.

Transactions for [account]

Towards the bottom of the dashboard, you can see all overdue transactions for the supplier currently selected in Accounts Overdue.

View Revenue and Expenses

Monthly revenue and expenses charts

Here you can see a summary of your company income and expenditure against budgets. To see values broken down by chart of accounts category, move your mouse pointer over the relevant month.

Profit and Loss

Below your monthly revenue and expenses information, you can see total income, total expenses and your net profit.
