If you've any problems during the installation of Sage 200 Standard, please follow the steps in this article.

NOTE: If you require support on any of these steps, you will need to speak to your local I.T. department
First of all check that your system requirements are sufficient to run the Sage 200 program. To find out what the full system requirements are please click here.
Ensure that the ports and URLs required by the program have not been blocked. Information on this can be found here.
Restart you computer and log on an administrator.
Run an anti-virus scan and temporarily disable your antivirus
  - Using your anti-virus software, run an anti-virus scan.
  - If your anti-virus doesn't find any problems, temporarily disable your antivirus software then try to install your software again.

 Install any Windows Updates
  - Ensure that you've checked for, and installed, any required Windows updates. If you're unsure about how to do this, please contact your local IT support.
  - Once you have installed all updates try to install your software again.

Delete the contents of the temporary folder
  - Hold down the Windows key + R then, in the Open box, type %temp% then click OK.
  - To select all files and folders, hold down Ctrl + A.
  - To delete the files, press Delete key on your keyboard then click Yes.
  - Try and install your software again.

 Repair the Microsoft .NET Framework
  - Hold down the Windows key + R, then type CMD, to run as administrator, hold down Ctrl + Shift and press Enter.
  - Type sfc /scannow then press Enter.
 - The message 'Beginning system scan. This process will take some time' appears. This scan may take several minutes to complete.
  - When the scan is complete, the SFC tool indicates whether any integrity violations were found and offers you the chance to fix any that are.
  - If there are registry entries which need to be repaired unfortunately, unlike files, there is no easy way to repair the registry keys/values that are installed by Windows 7 and Vista. If you want to try to repair the registry keys/values that are a part of the .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.0, you must run the Windows 7 or Vista OS setup again and repair the OS. For more information about this, please refer to your local IT support.

   - If no errors appear or all errors are fixed and the issue still occurs, uninstall and reinstall the Microsoft .NET Framework.

NOTE: There may be other software on the computer that relies on Microsoft .NET Framework. We would recommend that you speak to your I.T. support before removing .NET.
