Summary
This guide explains how to resolve an error which appears in Sage 200 Standard suggesting a user is logged into the software when they aren't.
Description
This error occurs if you have a window open or you have a disconnected login.
Resolution
First of all, check to make sure that you do not have a window already open.
To check this
- On the bar at the bottom of your program you will see information on any windows you may have open
- To then see what windows you actually have open, click where is says 'open window'. you can now either choose to close all open windows from the menu or select the window to open from the list, then close it normally.
If you do not have any windows open, then it will be a disconnected login.
How to remove a disconnected login
TIP: If you are using Sage 200 Standard/Education it can take up to 5 minutes for the disconnected login to appear after an unexpected closure of the software
- Click Settings
- Click on User Login Status and check the Disconnected Logins panel, highlight any users in this panel . Once the users are highlighted, click Log Off.
If you do not see the option for User Login Status, or you get a message saying that you do not have permission to use this feature, please contact your local Sage administrator to either check for you or give you access rights to do so.
