NOTE: The application will download and the message will appear when the new program tries to install.
The reason for this is usually down to a limitation of permissions given to the Windows user profile who is attempting the update.
The following navigation instructions are for Windows 7. If you use a different operating system you may need to consult the system documentation.
Once the wizard has completed, go to c:\Users\*relevant user*\AppData\Local\Apps and rename the folder called 2.0 as 2.0old.
Now go to www.sageerponlineservices.com and sign in with your email address and password.
NOTE: If the re-install fails, click on details button on the error, this opens a notepad file. Find the following link https://pros200appasage.blob.core.windows.net/clickonce/desktopclient/
StandardDesktop.application, copy into a browser and download the application directly.
If this does not resolve the issue this will potentially be down to the version of .NET Framework currently installed.
You will need to download and install an updated version of .NET. To find out your current version of .NET:
You will now need to uninstall and re-install your Sage 200 app again.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, Please consult your local I.T. to check your user permissions.
