Prices don't align correctly when emailing a service invoice in PDF format in Sage 50 Accounts.
This issue also occurs when exporting to a PDF file in Sage 50 Accounts V33.1 and above.
As a workaround, you can save the invoice as a PDF file and manually attach it to an email.
Alternatively you can edit the invoice layout and change the link position of the data fields. This aligns the prices to the first line of the service details.
- On the navigation bar, do to Invoices and credits, select any invoice, then select Print.
- Select your invoice layout, then press Edit.
- In the 'Details' section of the layout,go to the data field in the 'Unit Price' column.
- Hold down the Ctrl key and select the data fields in the other pricing columns. For example, Net Amount, Discount, VAT % and VAT.

- In the 'Properties' pane, under 'Layout', select Linked Position Anchor.
If you can't see the Properties pane, go to View, then select Properties. - Click the finder button, press the top arrow, then press OK.
- On the menu bar, go to Report, then select Report Properties.
- In 'Report Name', enter a new name for your layout, then press OK.
- On the menu bar, go to File, then select Save As.
- Enter a new file name for your layout, then press Save.
- On the menu bar, go to File, then select Exit.
