How to reprint a previous year's P60 in Sage 50 Payroll.
Normally, you print P60s as part of the payroll year end procedure in Sage 50 Payroll. Sometimes, you need to reprint P60s on a later date.
You need to produce a P60 for everyone you employ as of the last day of the tax year. If they left before 5 April, issue them with a P45 instead, not a P60.
TIP:
Did you know you can upload your employees' P60s to Sage HR where they can view and download them online? Find out more.
You can only print a P60 for employees you've processed once or more during the tax year. If you didn't process any pay for them, your software can't produce a P60.
Follow the steps below to reprint P60s. You can also follow this process to reprint a P60 for the current tax year, by setting the relevant date in Step 2.
- Go to Payroll, then select Change Process Date.
- Enter the last day of the tax year you want to print a P60 for, then select OK.
- For example, enter 05/04/2025 for the 2024/2025 tax year.
- Select the employees you want to print a P60 for.
- Select Reports.
- Next to Year End, select the chevron >.
- Choose the relevant year.
- Select the relevant P60 report then select Print.
- A message appears asking if you want to include all employees:
- Select No to run the report only for the employees you selected in Step 3
- Select Yes to run the report for all employees
- Check your printer settings are correct, then select OK.
You've now printed your employee's P60.
