Interactive Reporting

This article provides details of the Interactive Reporting option in Sage APA

The Interactive Reporting window brings together ROPs, ReportPads, and Headings in to easy to understand groupings that will make it simpler for you to find the settings you want to change, and give you a better understanding of how that change affects the sets of accounts.

This feature is available in the Reports section in the Quick Links menu.

 

From the Interactive Reporting window you can:

• Navigate through the different parts of a set of accounts by selecting items in the list in the left-hand pane or by expanding nodes.
• Change ROP options and Headings by choosing from the drop-down lists or entering text in the boxes.
• Enter action dates.
• Edit larger blocks of text. ReportPads are larger blocks of text that you have formatting control over. You can write your ReportPad text directly in the boxes.
• Revert an option back to its original setting by clicking Revert. This will take the setting back to how it currently is in the master database.

• Check what impact a change has on a set of accounts by clicking Preview at the bottom of each page of options.
• Run a set of accounts by choosing Draft or Final then clicking Run Accounts.
• Send a set of accounts to Sage Assisted Tagging to prepare an iXBRL file.

Interactive reporting is available on FRSLTD, SOC102 and FARM102 (as of v18.1).
