Set up Sage 50 Accounts

Install the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts

If you have Sage 50 Accounts installed, check your current version number:

1. Open Sage 50 Accounts, then on the menu bar click Help then click About.
2. Under Program Details, check the Version number.

If you don't have Sage 50 Accounts installed, or if your current software version is v24.2 or below, you must install the latest version now.

Activate the Sage 50 Accounts features

Once you install Sage 50 Accounts, you must update your licence.

1. Open Sage 50 Accounts, click Tools then click Activation.
2. If available, click Refresh Licence then proceed to step 5.
3. If no Refresh Licence option appears, click Upgrade program.
4. Click the Enter a new licence check box then enter your serial number, activation key and account reference, then click OK.
   
   You can find this information in your Sage 50 Accounts confirmation email.
   
   
5. When the Licence Confirmation window appears, click OK, then if prompted to close Sage 50 Accounts, click OK.

Congratulations, you've now activated Sage 50 Accounts. You can see your updated licence details in Help, About.
