Install the ODBC driver

Download and install the Sage 50 Accounts ODBC drivers here for connecting to Microsoft Excel.

 NOTE: We don't provide technical support for the use of, or issues with ODBC. 

If you're using Sage 50 Accounts with 64-bit Microsoft Office and need to connect to Excel via ODBC, install the 64-bit ODBC driver. You can also download 32-bit installers.

Download the 64-bit ODBC Installer

1. Restart your computer and log on as an administrator.
2. Double-click the relevant download link:
   • Sage 50 Accounts v32.1 64-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v32.1 32-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v32.0 64-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v32.0 32-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v31.1 64-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v30 64-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v29 64-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v28 64-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v27 64-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v26 64-bit ODBC Installer
3. Browse to the location to save the download, for example your Windows desktop, then click Save.
4. Click Save link as or Save target as, then make a note of the file name.
5. Locate the downloaded file.
6. Sage 50 Accounts v28 and above - Right-click Sage50Accounts_vxx_64BitODBC.zip, click Extract All, click Extract, then double-click 64Bit.
7. Double-click the Sage50Accounts_ODBC_x64.msi file.
8. If a Security Warning window appears, click Run to continue.
9. Select the I accept the terms in the License Agreement check box, then click Install.
10. Click Finish, then restart your computer.

Download the 32-bit ODBC Installer

1. Restart your computer and log on as an administrator.
2. Right-click the relevant download link:

   • Sage 50 Accounts v30 32-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v29 32-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v28 32-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v27 32-bit ODBC Installer
   • Sage 50 Accounts v26 32-bit ODBC Installer
3. Browse to the location to save the download, for example your Windows desktop, then click Save.
4. Click Save link as or Save target as, then make a note of the file name.
5. Locate the downloaded file.
6. Sage 50 Accounts v28 and above - Right-click Sage50Accountsvxx_32BitODBC.zip, click Extract All, click Extract, then double-click 32Bit.
7. Double-click the Sage50Accounts_ODBC_x86.msi file.
8. If a Security Warning window appears, to proceed with the installation, click Run.
9. Select the I accept the terms in the License Agreement check box, then click Install.
10. Click Finish, then restart your computer.
