How to register and activate Sage 50 Accounts

Purchased from Sage

After you've installed your software, when you open your software for the first time, you're prompted to enter your serial number, activation key and account number. You can find these details in your welcome email, or on your invoice. 

Purchased elsewhere

If you've purchased your software elsewhere, you're provided with a serial number and a trial activation key, that you can use for a maximum of 30 days. After 30 days, you must register before you can continue to use the software. It's a quick simple process, let's do it now.

The easiest way to do this is to register online.

Register online

1. In Sage 50 Accounts, click Tools, click Activation, then click Upgrade Program.
2. Click Register my software, and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Make a note of your new activation key then close the browser.
4. In New Key, enter the new activation key, then click Continue.
5. If prompted, enter your account number, then click Continue.
6. To complete the registration, click OK.
