Sage 50cloud Accounts software updates

This article explains how to check if your version of Sage 50cloud Accounts is up to date. If you are not on the latest update for your version, this article provides downloads to install the latest minor updates for your current version of your software, from v23 to v28.


It's important to install any available updates for that version to ensure your Sage 50cloud Accounts software is compliant with new legislation and keep it running smoothly.

NOTE: If you're using Sage 50cloud Accounts v27 or below and want to upgrade to v28, or if you need to install Sage 50cloud Accounts on a computer that doesn't have an existing installation, visit the Installation Help Centre > 


Check for updates

The easiest way to install any updates is to use the check for updates option in your Sage 50cloud Accounts software:

  1. On the menu bar click Help, then click Check for updates.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts.

However, there may be occasions when you need to manually install an update, for example if no updates are found. To do this, follow the steps below.

Check your current version

  1. Open Sage 50cloud Accounts.
  2. On the menu bar click Help, then click About.
  3. In the Program Details section, check the version number.

Once you know what version number your software is, click on the relevant version in the section below to check whether it is up to date. If it is not, you can download the minor update needed.
