Description

Install updates for Sage 50 Accounts to stay compliant with new legislation. If you’re not on the latest version, follow our steps below.

 NOTE: If you need to upgrade to v28 or above, or install on a new computer, visit our Install your software hub.

Check for updates

It's easy to install available updates from within your Sage 50 Accounts software:

  1. On the menu bar go to Help, then click Check for updates.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts.

You can also choose to install the updates manually. To do this, follow the steps below.


Check your current version

 CAUTION: Read this important message if you're using Sage Job Costing or Sage Manufacturing. 

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounts.
  2. On the menu bar go to Help, then select About.
  3. In the Program Details section, check the version number.

Once you know the version number of your software, click the relevant version below to check if it's up to date. If not, you can download the update needed.


Manually install an update

 NOTE: To upgrade to the latest version, use our Install your software hub.

 CAUTION: As we no longer support these older versions, you may encounter problems. We aren’t able to provide technical support if you’re using a version older than v26.3.
