Description

Install updates for Sage 50 Accounts to get the latest features. If you’re not using the latest version, follow the steps below.

 NOTE: If you need to upgrade to v28 or above, or install on a new computer, visit our Install your software hub.

Check for updates

Install available updates from within your Sage 50 Accounts software:

  1. On the menu bar go to Help, then click Check for updates.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts.

You can also choose to install the updates manually. To do this, follow the steps below.

Check your current version

 CAUTION: Read this important message if you're using Sage Job Costing or Sage Manufacturing. 

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounts.
  2. On the menu bar go to Help, then select About.
  3. In the Program Details section, check the version number.

Once you know the version number of your software, click the relevant version below to check if it's up to date. If not, you can download the update needed.

Manually install an update

 NOTE: To upgrade to the latest version, use our Install your software hub. 

Select the software version you wish to install:

▼ Version v34

The latest version is: 34.0

  CAUTION:  Read this important message before upgrading if you use Sage Job Costing or Sage Manufacturing. 

  1. Log on to your computer as an administrator and close all software.
  2. Click the link below:

    Download Sage 50 Accounts v34 64-bit  
  3. Click Save if prompted by your browser.
  1. Locate and right-click the downloaded file, then select Run as Administrator.
  2. Follow the instructions in the installer application.
  3. Once the installation is complete, open Sage 50 Accounts.
  4. On the menu bar go to Help, then select About.
  5. Under Program Details, check this shows the latest version.

If you've got Sage 50 Accounts installed on multiple computers, repeat these steps on each, including the computer that holds your data.

▼ Version 33.1

The latest version is: 33.1.359.0.

  CAUTION:  Read this important message before upgrading if you use Sage Job Costing or Sage Manufacturing. 

  1. Log on to your computer as an administrator and close all software.
  2. Click the link below:

    Download Sage 50 Accounts v33.1 64-bit  
  3. Click Save if prompted by your browser.
  1. Locate and right-click the downloaded file, then select Run as Administrator.
  2. Follow the instructions in the installer application.
  3. Once the installation is complete, open Sage 50 Accounts.
  4. On the menu bar go to Help, then select About.
  5. Under Program Details, check this shows the latest version.

The latest version is: 33.0.153.0.

  3. Click Save if prompted by your browser.

  2. Follow the instructions in the installer application.
  3. Once the installation is complete, open Sage 50 Accounts.
  4. On the menu bar go to Help, then select About.
  5. Under Program Details, check this shows the latest version.

The latest version is: 31.1.462.0.

CAUTION: Read this important message before upgrading if you use Sage Job Costing or Sage Manufacturing. 

  1. Log on to your computer as an administrator and close all software.
  2. Click the link below:

    Download Sage 50 Accounts v31.1.462.0 64-bit  

Download Sage 50 Accounts v31.1.462.0 32-bit  

Click Save if prompted by your browser.

  1. Locate and right-click the downloaded file, then select Run as Administrator.
  2. Follow the instructions in the installer application.
  3. Once the installation is complete, open Sage 50 Accounts.
  4. On the menu bar go to Help, then select About.
  5. Under Program Details, check this shows the latest version.
