Description

It's important that you keep your Sage 50 Accounts software up to date by installing the latest updates available. These updates can contain new legislation, such as making tax digital updates, as well as feature improvements and fixes.

You have the option to automatically check for software updates on a regular basis (recommended) or to manually check for updates when you decide.

NOTE: The settings for automatic updates are computer specific.

Configure automatic updates

  1. On the menu bar click Software updates then click Software update settings.
  2. Select the required option then click OK.

Manually check for updates

Automatic updates use a seven day cycle. You may not receive a prompt to download and install an update as soon as it's released, but it appears during the next seven days.

To check if an update is available manually, click Software updates then click Check for software updates.

Alternatively, visit the Help Centre to check the latest version.
