How to import Sage 50 Payroll data into Sage 50 P11D.

Description

If you use Sage 50 Payroll, you can import details into Sage 50 P11D using the Payroll Data Import Wizard. This includes details of:

  • The employer
  • A employee or employees
  • Car or mileage
  • Loan details

Steps in Sage 50 Payroll

Carry out some preparation steps in Sage 50 Payroll first.

  1. Open the company you want to import data from.
  2. Click Help, then click About.
  3. Note the Data Directory.
  4. Close Sage 50 Payroll.

Steps in Sage 50 P11D

Now you've completed the steps in Sage 50 Payroll, open Sage 50 P11D to carry out the next set of steps.

  1. Click File, then click Data Import.
  2. Click Import Sage Payroll Data, then click Next.
  3. Select Browse, then click Browse again.
  4. Browse to the payroll data directory you noted down earlier.
  5. Select the PAYROLL.MDB database file, then click Open

  6. Click Next, then select the relevant company.
  7. Click Next, then select the employees you want to import.

     TIP: To import all employees, click Next without highlighting.

  8. Click Next then, if you're importing data from an employer you have already imported, choose whether you want to update the employer or create a new Employer Record.
  9. Select the View Import log check box, then click Finish.
  10. In the Import log, read the information, then click OK.
  11. To recalculate your benefits, click OK, then click OK again.
  12. If required, to import more information, click Yes. Alternatively, click No.

You've imported your Payroll data into Sage 50 P11D.
