Convert quotes to invoices or sales orders

How to turn a quotation into an invoice or sales order in Sage 50 Accounts.

Create quotations to send to your customers using Sage 50 Accounts. When you win a quote, you can convert it to an invoice or a sales order, preventing the need to re-enter the quote details.

 NOTE: The Sales Orders module is only available in Sage 50 Accounts Professional. If you're interested in upgrading, leave your details and we'll be in touch. 

Before you start

If you use Sage 50 Accounts Professional, choose whether you want your quotes to become invoices or sales orders.

1. Go to Settings, then Invoice & Order Defaults.
2. On the Convert quotes to drop down, select Invoices or Sales Orders, then click OK.

How to convert a quote to an invoice or sales order

In Sage 50 Accounts Standard and below, convert quotes to invoices. In Sage 50 Accounts Professional, quotes convert to invoices or sales orders, based on your Invoice & Order Defaults settings.

1. Go to Quotations then select the quotes to convert.
2. Select Mark as Won then Yes on the Confirm window.
