Summary

Export your customer records from Sage Accounting Start to a CSV file. Use this when you need your customer data outside Sage or when you move to another system.

Resolution

Export all customers

This exports every customer record. The CSV includes all customer fields except Analysis Types.

  1. Go to Contacts.
  2. From the New customer dropdown, choose Export all customers.
  3. Wait for the notification on the toolbar to confirm the file is ready.

 NOTE: You can only export one file at a time. Wait for the export to finish before starting another. 


Export selected customers

This exports only the fields currently visible on the list.

  1. Go to Contacts.
  2. Select the customers you want to export.
  3. Select the CSV icon from the action toolbar.
