Summary

How to export your Sage 50 Accounts reports to Excel.

Description

You can export your reports to Excel for further analysis in just a few clicks. Let's do this now.

Resolution

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounts, then browse to and click the report you want to send to Excel.
  2. Click the required output option as follows: 

 

To save your report with a specified file type

Click Export, browse to where you want to save the file, enter a file name and file type, then click Save.

To send the report to Excel in the same format as the report preview

Click Report to Excel.

 

To send the report data to Excel, placing the information in columns ready for further analysis.

Click Data to Excel.

 

3. If a Criteria window appears, enter any required criteria then click OK.


 TIP: If you find that your exported reports in Excel are missing header lines, to resolve this, edit the report in Report Designer, click View then click Properties, then, from the Export options on the right of the window. Click Export Options and select the Header check boxes, then save the report using File then Save As.
