Although you can enter the details of assemblies in your product records, you can only build assemblies to take the various components out of stock if your TASBooks licence includes the Stock Control module.

Before an assembly can be sold, or used as part of a sales order, you need to put the goods into stock.

Date | Enter the date you want the assembly to appear in stock. |
Qty | Enter the number of the assembled products you want to add to your stock. |
Max Stock | This value is made up of the number of assembled items currently in stock plus the number of possible assembled items from the regular items in stock. |
Max Available | The maximum number of assemblies you can create from the regular items in stock appears here. |
Cost Price | The standard cost the assembly automatically appears here. |
GMV | Enter a GMV number if applicable or a reference. |
The quantity in stock and the stock value for this assembly product automatically updates on the product record. You don't need to do anything further.
