Sage 200 We're contacting you because you don’t currently have a valid Sage account but have requested access to the Sage 200 Application Programming Interface (API). We want to let you know about some important changes to how we register and manage Sage 200 API access. What’s changing To support these changes, we'll publish new documentation and introduce updated processes and guidance for Sage 200 API access. The new API access model will require the following changes: - You’ll need a valid Sage account to request and maintain API access
- We’ll register all API requests under a master registration
- You must register each developer app separately with unique credentials.
- We’ll provide two credentials for each app :
- Development (Test) credentials will support up to 20 authentication requests per minute
- Production credentials will support up to 600 authentication requests per minute
- If you develop an app, whether it’s used by a single customer or multiple customers, you’ll need to request the API credentials directly
- Customers shouldn’t request API credentials on your behalf
What you need to do Our records show that your current Sage account doesn’t meet the requirements for continued Sage 200 API access. To continue using your API credentials, complete the Sage ISV Developer registration form and provide the correct account and contact details by 6 August 2026. Once we validate your details, we'll create the appropriate Sage Account and provide your Sage 200 API serial number. If we don’t receive your details by 6 August, we’ll cancel your Sage 200 API credentials. Reminder When using the Sage 200 API, you must comply with the: These requirements apply to all API access requests and support the controls we're introducing to manage API registrations. If any of your credential requests don't align with these requirements, the Developer Services Licence Agreement, or the Acceptable Use Policy, contact the Developer Services Support Team so we can review them with you.
