Rename the column headings on your sales documents. Use terms that are more familiar to your customers or better reflect the products and services you provide.
EXAMPLE:
A construction company works across multiple building sites and invoices customers for work at each location. They rename the Description column to Site, so they can enter the site name on each line item.

Go to Settings and then Business Settings.
Select Document preferences.
Go to the Line items section.
Rename the relevant field.
Use the Preview to check how they display.
Select Save.
NOTE:
These changes only apply to new documents. Update existing documents yourself.
