Communication: Sage 200 Defects Portal authoriser required
Description

This communication was sent 22 May 2026.

Sage 200

Hello,

We launched the Sage 200 Defects Portal in April as the central place to log and track Sage 200 product defects.

We’re contacting you to explain how access requests and authorisation work and to let you know that your organisation doesn’t currently have a partner authoriser set up.

Who can authorise access

Only partner authorisers can:

  • Request access for new users
  • Change existing access
  • Remove access

Your Sage account manager provides authoriser details. Authorisers usually include a Support Team Manager, Product Manager, or another appropriate contact. Each partner organisation can have up to three authorisers.

What you need to do

1. Set an authoriser
We ask that your Managing Director, Owner, or a Director emails us to confirm the details of the appropriate contact.

2. Tell your colleagues
Let your colleagues know:

  • Who the authoriser is
  • That they must submit all access requests through that person

3. Complete the required training
Anyone in Partner Support who needs to log or view defects must:

Make sure your colleagues complete both before you submit any access request.

4. Submit access requests
We limit access to Partner Support colleagues, and an authorised contact must request it.

  • Submit new user requests using the access request form
  • Use the same form to change or remove access
  • Only submit requests after training and the exam are complete
  • Requests can take up to seven days to process
  • Submit all access requests by 31 July 2026
