Communication: Use the Sage 200 Defects Portal before contacting Support
Description

This communication was sent 13 May 2026.

Sage 200

In April, we launched the Sage 200 Defects Portal, our central platform for logging and tracking Sage 200 product defects.

This message is a reminder that you must now use the Defects Portal as part of standard troubleshooting before contacting our Support teams. Using the portal helps us track issues and respond more efficiently.

What’s changing

We’ll deactivate our previous defects system on Friday 15 May. When we do, we’ll automatically redirect the existing web page to the new Defects Portal.

What you need to do

Complete training
All Partner Support colleagues who view or log defects must complete the Sage 200 Defects Portal training to log defects consistently and securely.

Request access (if needed)
Use the following process to request access to the Defects Portal. We only grant access to Partner Support colleagues:

  • A Partner Support manager, or another agreed contact, must request access
  • Submit requests using the new user request form
  • Use the same form to change or remove access when a colleague leaves or changes role
  • Request access by 31 July 2026

Help and support

If you need help, contact our Support team or raise a case online.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Kind regards,
Sage 200 Product and Services Team
