Communication: Sage 50 Cloud: An Update for Developers and ISVs
Description

This communication was sent 8 April 2026.

Sage 50 Accounts UK

We’ve received a few questions about Sage 50 Cloud and what this means for third-party applications and integrations. You’re receiving this email because your Developer Programme access includes Sage 50 Accounts (Sage 50 and Sage 200 in the UK).

If this doesn’t apply to you, disregard this email.

What is Sage 50 Cloud?

Sage 50 Cloud is a new deployment option for Sage 50 Accounts that runs in the cloud. It removes the need for local desktop installation and manual upgrades, while keeping the existing Sage 50 user experience.

Sage 50 Accounts desktop is still a key part of what we offer. Sage 50 Cloud is an extra option, giving customers more choice in how they use the product.

Current status: Early Access Programme (EAP)

Sage 50 Cloud is currently available through an Early Access Programme. We’ve limited access while we validate the core cloud experience and gather feedback from early users.

What does this mean for third-party apps and integrations?

Third-party applications play an important role in how customers use Sage 50 today and will continue to do so as Sage 50 Cloud evolves.

We plan integration support for a later phase of the programme. We’re still defining the integration model and onboarding process, and we’ll share further details once this work is complete.

Survey: Help us plan for third-party support

To help us plan ahead, we’re asking third party providers to complete a short survey. This will give us a clearer view of how solutions work today and what we need to consider for future onboarding.

If you’d like us to consider your solution as part of future third party onboarding, complete the survey by 30 April 2026.

You can find details on how we collect and use your information in our privacy notice.
