ERROR: '[08001] Cannot find all files in data path'
Description

Microsoft’s April 2024 Excel update hides Microsoft Query under Legacy options. This results in the error '[08001] Cannot find all files in data path' when you use Excel with Sage 50 Accounts.

Cause
Resolution

To resolve this, you'll need to turn Microsoft Query back on:

  1. Go to Microsoft Excel.
  2. Go to File then select Options.
  3. Select Data.
  4. In the Show legacy data import wizards section, tick From Microsoft Query (Legacy) then select OK.

  1. Go to Data, select Get Data, select Legacy Wizards, then select From Microsoft Query (legacy).
  2. Close and reopen Microsoft Excel.
  3. Go to the Data tab at the top of Excel then select Get Data.
  4. Select Legacy Wizards then select From Microsoft Query (legacy).
