After you complete a pay run, an FPS automatically sends. You can download a copy of this as an XML file and check the status of previous submissions.  NOTE: This isn’t a Sage report and is in the exact format HMRC require. Therefore, it’s generally used for troubleshooting purposes.
To download a copy of the FPS submission - Select Pay Runs from the menu bar.
- Choose the relevant pay run.
- From the HMRC Real Time Information (RTI) Scheme section, select Actions.
- Select Download FPS XML.
To view your FPS history - Select Pay Runs from the menu bar.
- Choose the relevant pay run.
- From the HMRC Real Time Information (RTI) Scheme section, select Actions.
- Select View FPS History.
