Remote Data Access (RDA) - Forgotten passphrase
Description

If you forget your passphrase, the Manager or data owner can view this in Sage 50 Accounts.

Cause
Resolution

Retrieve your passphrase

  1. Log in to Sage 50 Accounts as Manager.
  2. Go to Settings then Remote Data Access Settings.
  3. Click Show Password/Passphrase.
  4. Log in when prompted.

A window with your encryption password/passphrase appears.

  1. Click Copy to Clipboard or OK to close the window.
