Promotion retirement for renewals

In July 2024 we introduced a new Sage 200 Professional Bundle, containing FREE Full Document Management User, and a FREE View Document Management User for 12 months with every new Sage 200 Professional deal. You can see a copy of the communication here.

The promotion ran from 22nd July 2024 to 31st January 2025, so from a new sales perspective its already expired.

As per our partner FAQ, we outlined the following from 22nd July 2025:

For renewals, the discount is preset to expire against the user types at the end of year 1, meaning promotional users will become chargeable:

• If the customer only has the free of charge users, we will remove them from the plan automatically at renewal, before they become chargeable.
• If a customer has the promotional users plus additional chargeable ones then the promotional users will convert to the RRP user price at renewal. You should follow usual downgrade processes to reduce any users counts, if required.

We will make these changes monthly, based on the customers renewal date, from July 2025 up to and including to February 2026 based on the customers renewal.

Action?

Where a customer only has the currently free of charge users, and is using them and wishes to continue to do so without interruption, please notify your account manager us by 30th June 2025 and we will exclude them from the process.
