If you need to update the workplace postcode field for several employees, you can do it using global changes.

From 6 April 2025, the workplace postcode field is mandatory for employees working within a Freeport or Investment Zone. This applies to National Insurance (NI) categories D, E, F, I, K,L, and N.

Your software includes this postcode in your Full Payment Submissions from 6 April 2025 onwards for affected employees.

1. Back up your data.
2. Select the relevant employees on your employee list.
3. Go to Tasks, then Global Changes.
4. Select Assign Employee(s) a new.
5. Select Workplace Post Code.
6. Enter the required postcode, then select OK.
7. Check the number of employees is correct on the message, and select Yes if so.
8. Click OK.

You've now updated the workplace postcode for the employees you selected in Step 2.
