Sage Provisioning Portal - 2025.10.005

On Sunday 2 February 2025, we’ll be updating the Sage Provisioning Portal between 16:00 and 20:00.

During the deployment period, access to the Sage Provisioning Portal will not be available. However, access to Sage 200 Standard, Sage for Education and Sage 200 Professional via Sage Partner Cloud will continue to work as normal.

Due to the nature of the changes we ask that partners do not deploy any new Sage Partner Cloud sites, that includes test upgrade sites. Additionally, we ask that no upgrades are finalised during this period.

What’s included in this release?

This release will address how the contract dates will work for SPC sites.

  • A reminder that in our January 2025.10.000 release the following were updated for all sites not just SPC.
    • Acceptance date: date when the site was accepted by the customer.
    • Contract effective date: Current term start date from Zuora.
    • Contract renewal date: Current term end date from Zuora.
    • Notice period date: 30 days before the term end date.

As part of this release, we’re introducing the following:

  • Changing how upgrades for SPC site work:
    • When selecting to initiate a test upgrade site, a new prompt to select which site is being upgraded. It will then use the existing contract term dates to create this new test site.
    • It’s essential that partners select the correct live site.
    • In doing so, when you are ready to switch the test site to be live, the system will now take the following action:
      • Set the existing live site to cancel at the end of the current month.
      • Set the test site to become the live site on the 1st of the following month.
      • New live site will have the same renewal window as the previous live site.
      • Partners will receive a pro-rated credit for the old live site remaining term, and an invoice for the new site for the remaining term. Please note if you do this after a price increase new pricing will apply to the new live site.
  • Additionally, we will be upgrading the image we use for Sage Partner Cloud sites. New sites will deploy using the Windows 11 2024 H2 image.

We’ll be communicating the Sage Provisioning Portal maintenance in the following ways:

    • Updating status.sage.com
    • Adding an in-product Launchpad message (Standard, Education and Professional via Sage Partner Cloud variants only)
