Notice 24-PX | 14 Nov 2024 Sage 200 Professional - Issue Essential Software Maintenance and Updates Dear Partner, Following the recent release of Sage 200 2024 R2, we’ve unfortunately identified a small number of issues. We’re therefore taking the decision to pause the release, fix the issues, and reissue the 2024 R2 product build. What are the issues? All the issues can be accessed on our known issues database. What steps are we taking? Although this only affects a small number of the Sage 200 base customers, we’re taking the following action: - With immediate effect, all software-related downloads for Sage 200 2024 R2 Professional will be put on pause
- We’ll temporarily revert the available build in SPC to 2024 R1. To do this SPC will be in maintenance between 12 and 5pm tomorrow, 15 November 2024. This means no sites should be deployed during the maintenance window.
- We’re working to fix all the issues concerned.
When can we expect the fixes? We’re currently working to release new builds, in the first week of December. This includes releasing a new version of Sage 200 Standard and Sage for Education. Please take this email as a notification and reminder. Also, ensure your teams know about the unavailability windows. In our original release communication, we also asked SPC partners to ensure that no upgrades were undertaken until 18 November, given this recent change, this now means the upgrades need to be paused until after 5pm on 05 December.
