What's New?This release marks a significant milestone with the introduction of AR Automation – Powered by the Sage Network, along with feature enhancements crafted by customer’s ideas to bring more flexibility, and drive efficiencies. Another key highlight of this release is our Sage Connect Early Adopter Programme, which gives users the ability to push data from Sage 200 Professional (including SPC) into the Sage Network. The new features and enhancements are designed to elevate your experience with Sage 200. Here is a taster of what you and our customers can expect, check out the What's New Datasheet for further information on 2024 R2. | Sage Connect (AR Automation) Early Adopter Program | Sage’s AR Automation makes getting paid on time fast and painless. | | Sage Network ERP Connector Early Adopter Program | Designed to push critical Accounts Receivable data, this add-on ensures sales ledger, customer records, invoices, credits, and receipts are automatically synced, enabling real-time, self-service access. | | Amend Requested and Promised Dates | Enhance efficiency and accuracy with the ability to modify requested and promised dates on Sales Orders, Quotes, (desktop and web Screens), and Proformas (desktop only). Instead of manually updating each line item, our new feature allows for quick, cascading date changes, significantly reducing data entry time. | | Increased Reference and Second Reference Field Lengths | Originally driven by the need to accommodate longer vendor invoice numbers, such as those from Amazon, this enhancement ensures businesses can avoid abbreviating critical information, reducing errors and improving data clarity. | | Bank Feeds – Transaction Import | Customers can simplify their bank reconciliation process with the ability to import banking transactions. Supported VersionsThis product release also sees our updated Lifecyle Policy, including updates to the Sage 200 Manufacturing module retirement information. Sage Partner Cloud DeploymentsThe Sage Partner Cloud variant of 2024 R2 will be uploaded later today, we ask that you do not use the Provisioning Portal for any activity between 12:00 and 17:00. As part of some improvements we’re making to how upgrades work, we need to make changes to the Sage Provisioning Portal and Sage 200. This work will be completed by November 18th. Therefore, no site upgrades should be undertaken until November 18th. All Sage Partner Cloud deployments operate strictly within our lifecycle, meaning partners must ensure that customers are on a version within the supported versions in the Lifecyle Policy.
