This error occurs due to environmental factors, such as issues with the browser, cache, or cookies. Following these steps can resolve the issue. |
Resolution | Clear cache and cookies NOTE: You will need to log into your account again once you clear your data. This includes entering your email address and password. - In your browser, open the settings menu.
- Find the option to clear browsing data.
- Select Cookies and Cached images and files, then select Clear data.
Use an incognito or private window- Open a new incognito (private) window in your browser.
- Attempt to add the user again in this window, as it prevents cached data and cookies from interfering.
Try a different browserIf clearing cache and cookies does not work, try adding the user in a different browser. For example, switch from Chrome to Firefox or Edge. - Check browser updates. Make sure you update your browser to the latest version, as outdated browsers can sometimes cause compatibility issues.
- Disable browser extensions. Some extensions can interfere with Sage. Temporarily disable extensions, particularly those related to security or ad-blocking.
- Restart your device. A restart can refresh your system and resolve unexpected issues.
