Communication: Sage 200 Product Terms and Conditions updates

From 31 October 2024 we will be updating our Sage 200 Product Terms & Conditions and our Online Service Level Agreement.

What changes are being made?

Broadly, we’ve updated the terms to align to Sage’s current standard contracting position. We have consolidated and rearranged the structure of the terms.

The following clauses have been amended:

  • Definitions have been updated and new ones added
  • Definition changes have been reflected throughout the clauses
  • clause 10 – Proprietary rights and data (updated & moved)
  • clause 11 – Third party services
  • clause 13 – Warranties
  • clause 21 - Sanctions

Please note that, we have set out above the key changes but this is not an exhaustive list of changes.

Important: A new definition of affiliate has been added, this is solely for use connected with Sage’s right and that connected with Microsoft. It does not apply to how the licence can be used, which remains as defined under group and group company.

Both will be available from review from 31 October 2024.

What action do you need to take?

Please ensure that your team are aware of the changes. In all cases, we do not need you to sign new terms and conditions, by continuing to sell, use and support the software you are agreeing to comply with the updated terms.

Yes, we’ll be sending emails to all customers via email, and via in product messaging for products that have this capability.
