The Sage 50 Payroll EIR add-on allows you to transfer payroll data directly to Microsoft Excel.

Once you've prepared for Excel Integrated Reporting (EIR), you can download and install it.

Before you install the EIR update

When you install the EIR add-on, you need to enter the path to your Sage 50 Payroll installation. Follow the steps below to find this path.

1. Log in to a company in Sage 50 Payroll as normal.
2. Click Help then About.
3. Under the Program Details heading, note the path beside Program Directory.
4. Note the first four digits of your Version Number, for example 31.01.

Download the Excel Integrated Reporting update

1. Click the relevant link below for your version of Sage 50 Payroll:
   • Download the Sage 50 Payroll EIR add-on for v32.00
   • Download the Sage 50 Payroll EIR add-on for v31.01
   • Download the Sage 50 Payroll EIR add-on for v31.00
2. If prompted, browse to where you want to save the file.
3. Make a note of the file name, then select Save.
4. Browse to the installer you downloaded in Step 1.
5. Right-click this file, then click Run as administrator.
   • If a Security Warning window appears, select Run to proceed with the installation
6. To confirm you accept the licence terms, select Accept Licence.
7. If the path displayed matches the path you noted in the Before you install the EIR update section, click Yes.
   • If it doesn't match, select No to choose a different path. A list of Payroll installations appears. Select the installation that matches the path you noted in the Before you install the EIR update section

   Restart your computer when the installation is complete.

You can now enable Excel Integrated Reporting (EIR).
