Dear Developer

From 17 August 2024 we will be updating our Sage Developer Services Licence Agreement.

What changes are being made?

The original Sage Developer’s Programme Agreement was outdated and not aligned to Sage’s current standard contracting position. It has been updated and we have consolidated and rearranged the structure of the terms.

The following clauses have been amended:

• clause 1 - Access to Developer Services
• clause 3 – Use of Developer Services
• clause 4 - Your obligations
• clause 5 - Maintenance and Technical Support
• clause 6 – Duration and Termination
• clause 7 - Effect of Termination
• clause 8 – Warranties and Liability
• clause 9 - Indemnity
• clause 10 - Our rights
• clause 11 - Security, Privacy and Data Protection
• clause 12 - Compliance with Laws
• clause 14 – General Terms

Please note that, we have set out above the key changes but this is not an exhaustive list of changes.

Where can I see the terms

The terms are available on developer.sage.com and will be available for you to review from 17 August 2024.

What action do you need to take

Please ensure that your team are aware of the changes. In all cases, we do not need you to sign new terms and conditions, by continuing to use the developer tools etc you are agreeing to comply with the updated terms.
