How to refresh legislation tables
Description

Sometimes, you need to reset the legislation values in your software to the default for the current tax year.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Close Sage 50 Payroll.
  2. Ensure any other users log out of the company you need to reset.
  3. Right-click the icon Sage 50 Payroll icon on your desktop.
  4. Click Open file location.
  5. In the folder that opens, locate and double-click DBUtilities.exe.
  6. On the list of companies, click the company that you need to reset.
  7. Click Tools, then Reset Legislation.
  8. Click Yes on the prompt that asks if you want to proceed.
  9. Click OK, then Close.

You've reset the legislation in this company, and can log back in as normal.
