Communication: Sage 200 Process Changes & Process Reminder
Description

This communication was sent 01 July 2024.

Notice 24-OC | 01 Jul 2024

Dear Partner,

It’s essential to our operations that the processes we provide to you are used correctly. These are often short interactive forms that take very little time to complete. The reason for this approach is as follows:

  • Present key information, and update relevant parties, ensuring that the process is complete.
  • Changes are quick & simple, removing the risk of people retaining older copies.
  • Linked to terms and conditions - ensuring all the information needed is part of the flow.
  • Capture all information needed and automated to go to the right Sage team.

Diverting from such processes, such as sending ad-hoc emails to mailboxes, is not effective and can often result in delays to response and action.

In line with your partner terms, we require you to follow the processes and guidance we issue to you and we very much appreciate your support in doing so.

We would ask that you ensure that all your relevant teams and colleagues are aware of these processes.

Changes to processes

Effectively immediately we’re introducing changes to our new sales and upgrades processes. These changes allow you to indicate how Sage 200 Professional will be deployed. This information allows Sage to better focus Sage 200 Professional improvements according to the deployment environments and mechanisms most employed.

  • New Sales

This new form should be completed alongside usual processes.

The customer registration form is unaffected.

  • Upgrades

The version upgrade form has been updated to include a section to capture this information.

Important note: These changes do not apply to Sage 200 Standard or Sage Partner Cloud.

What action do you need to take

We ask that you share this with all colleagues within your organisation, where this is key information for their role.

Questions

If you have any questions, please speak to your Partner Account Manager in the first instance.
