This communication was sent 27 June 2024. Notice 24-OB | 27 Jun 2024 Sage Provisioning PortalOn Sunday 7th July 2024, we’ll be updating the Sage Provisioning Portal between 13:00 and 17:00. During the deployment period, access to the Sage Provisioning Portal will not be available. However, access to Sage 200 Standard, Sage for Education and Sage 200 Professional via Sage Partner Cloud will continue to work as normal. What’s included in this release?This release continues to see delivery of our modernisation activity and number of key maintenance items, which include: - Enhancements to the look and feel of the portal, part of our modernisation program:
- Users list – new filters & additional information
- Customer & Partner details pages – quickly identify which sites a user is assigned to
- Site level bacpac - improved user experience
- General enhancement requests:
- Locked Sites – included in the daily rolling backup process
- Download database backups for sites in shelved status – last backup only
- Site backups will continue even where it can’t find a database (previously the process failed)
- Trial site validation - changes to optimise performance
- Functionality retirements:
- Partner users will no longer be able to suspend and resume sites
- Users control list – removed, with the new user list as the replacement
Important: please note the removal of partner suspend/resume functionality from within the portal. We’ve identified this has been used by partners to cancel sites, all site cancellations are to be processed by Sage in line with our terms and conditions. Please request that the customer complete the cancellation form to begin the process, where there is an issue of non payment please contact [email protected] for advice and guidance. - Adding an in-product Launchpad message (Standard, Education and Professional via Sage Partner Cloud variants only)
