| | Description | Enter a lockdown date if you want to prevent entering transactions for a previous financial year. For example, if your financial year ends on 31 December, enter 31 December as the Year End Lockdown date. You'll then only be able to enter new transactions from 1 January onwards. If you need to enter transactions for the previous year, you can remove the Year End Lockdown date. |
| Resolution | Enter a lockdown date- From Settings, select Business Settings.
- Then in the Financial Settings section, choose Accounting Dates & VAT.
- Enter the last day of your last financial year into the Year End Lockdown box.
- Select Save at the bottom of the page.
TIP: If you need to enter transactions you missed, remove the lockdown date, and select Save.
Remove a lockdown date- From Settings, select Business Settings.
- Then in the Financial Settings section, choose Accounting Dates & VAT.
- Select the date currently in the lockdown date box. Once highlighted select the 'delete' key on your keyboard. This will clear any date in the box.
- Select Save at the bottom of the page.
