Notice 24-LL | 13 Feb 2024

Hi there,

At Sage, trust is the foundation of our relationship with customers.

We safeguard their security, value their privacy, and uphold the highest standards of data ethics.

To continue to keep Sage customers’ businesses safe from cyberattacks and fraud, we want to let you know about the extra layer of security we’re implementing, and what you & your customers need to do to prepare for it.

What you need to know

Starting this week, Sage will begin enrolment to automatically enable 2-factor authentication (2FA) for all users accessing Sage products with a Sage Account.

Sage 200 Standard, Sage 200 API and the Sage Provisioning Portal are included in this roll out.

From this date, you and customers will be instructed to set up 2FA to be able to log in with your unique Sage Account. We ask that you make sure all employees who access solutions via a Sage Account are aware and ready for this change.

We appreciate how busy you are, so we’ve made this process as easy as possible for you. All you have to do is follow 6 simple steps when you log in.

When you set up 2FA in Sage 200 or the Sage Provisioning Portal, it is automatically turned on for all other platforms you access using Sage Account.

If you already use 2FA to access our platforms, there is no further action for you to take.

We appreciate your cooperation to ensure your vital business data and services remain confidential, secure, and available.

If you have any concerns about the 2FA mandate you can learn more here.
