Sage 200 Web Amendability

We’re thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a virtual Developer Day on 23rd November 2023.

This event will run from 10am – 3pm with sessions taking you through the process of building a new addon that extends the existing Sage 200 API, and customises the Web Portal, adding various screens components and a new dialog.

What will the session cover?

During the session, you will have the opportunity to learn and build out a new feature in the Web Portal. This example is one that has been requested by customers in the past: Quotation management.

The session will include:

• Creating a new screen to handle only quotations.
• Adding a manage quote button.
• Creating a new dialog allowing the management of an existing quotation.

This dialog will include several components:

• Text boxes
• Buttons
• Selects

• Creating a new table and extending an existing table.
• Generating API code to extend and create a new endpoint.

What do you need to take part?

In order to work through the session, we expect developers who attend to:

• Have a working knowledge of Sage 200 and the SDK.
• Have access to a clean copy of Sage 200 Professional 2023 R2 with no add-ons installed.
• Have Sage 200 SDK tools installed and available.
