This communication was sent 25 August 2023. Notice 23-JN | 25 Aug 2023 Sage 200 Professional 2023 R2 is here!Hi everyone, We’re delighted to announce the release of Sage 200 Professional 2023 R2, which is also available via the Sage Provisioning Portal for Partner Cloud deployments. This release marks a significant milestone in our modernisation journey for Sage 200, building upon the web features introduced earlier and bringing you even greater flexibility and customisation options. What's New?The highlight of this release is the introduction of new web screen customisation capabilities, using a variety of approaches – from a new low code/no code data driven approach, all the way through to harnessing the full power of the JavaScript ecosystem. Building on the fantastic capabilities of the Sage 200 Software Developer Kit (SDK), we’re also introducing the ability to amend existing Sage 200 API and add your own. Aligned with our Sage Partner Cloud (SPC) program for Sage 200 Professional, this release means new deployments will be on the 2023 R2 release only. However, this doesn’t automatically update existing customers already using the SPC product variant – to support you on these updates, we remind you that we’ve introduced a simplified and automated process that you should use to upgrade your SPC customers. This will ensure our customers on SPC can benefit from the new releases in a timely manner while remaining compliant with our product lifecycle policy. As usual, we provide you with new and updated resources to give you and our customers a complete overview of all the new features and improvements included on this release. Additionally, we’ll be running a live session on 12th September 2023, to discuss and demonstrate the new 2023 R2 features. This event is specifically designed to help enable all your teams from developers to marketing, sales and support – so bring your lunch and join us, everyone is welcome! ResourcesPlease note, this is just a selection of the resources available – please refer to the Sage Partner Hub the Sage Knowledgebase for all available resources. Supported VersionsIn line with our lifecycle policy, the product release 2020 R2 is now out of support - our lifecycle documents have now been updated as part of the release process. Questions? If you have any questions, please speak to your Partner Account Manager in the first instance. Kind regards Sage Product & Services Team |
