Error: 'bankAccNumber is not valid' - Online Services
Description

When you upload a payslip to Sage HR Online Services or Online Bureau, you may see the following error.

error: BankAccNumber is not valid


Your error will indicate the employee that has the issue.

Cause
Resolution
  1. In Sage 50 Payroll, open the employee record with the issue.
  2. In the banking tab, check for any invalid characters or blank spaces. 

     TIP: This includes blank spaces at the end of the field e.g. a space at the end of an Account Number. 

  3. If you see any, remove them.
