Global changes: Online Services
Description

Sage 50 Payroll includes a Global Changes option that you can use to make amendments to a group of employee records, rather than having to amend each record individually.

Let's run through using this now.

Set/clear flag

Use this option to enable, or disable online services for multiple employees.

  1. Select the required employees then click Tasks then click Global Changes.
  2. Click Online Services, then as required, click:
    • Set Online Services Flag
    • Clear Online Services Flag
  3. Check the correct number of employees are included, click Yes then OK.

Set email

If your employee's emails follow a structure, you can use this option to add emails the selected employees' records. For example, you can set up [email protected].

  1. Select the required employees then click Tasks then click Global Changes.
  2. Click Online Services, then click Set Email Address.
  3. Select a field you'd like to use from the Available Fields section and click the Arrow button to add it.
  4. Repeat Step 3 for any fields you'd like to use.
     TIP: Fields you add from the record appear in square brackets [ ]. 
  5. Type the remainder of the email address
  6. Click OK. Check the correct number of employees are included then click Yes.
  7. Click OK.
