Before you install

 NOTE: If you still use Sage Manufacturing / Job Costing, this update isn't compatible. 

Check your computer details

Within your current Sage 50 Accounts software, click Help then click About and make note of the following information:

• Program Directory
• Data Directory
• Version number

Back up and check your data

1. Click File, then click Back up.
2. The software suggests a filename, or you can enter you own file name.
3. Click Browse and select the location and click OK.
4. Select the Select all file types to include in backup check box, then click OK.
5. To run Check data, click Yes and click OK.
6. Click Close, click Close again, then click OK.

Follow the steps below to download and install.

Upgrade a single computer

1. Close all software, then click the link below:

2. This normally downloads automatically to your Downloads folder, if not select your Downloads folder, then click Save.
3. To begin the installation, locate and double-click [BCB:262:UKI - 50 Accounts full download version number:ECB]
   To view your Downloads folder, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard.
4. If prompted, click Yes to allow this app to make changes to your device.
5. Select the I accept the terms of the Licence Agreement check box and click Next.
6. Check the location matches the directory you noted, then click Upgrade.
7. To continue, click Yes, begin installation.
8. Click Launch Sage 50 Accounts, and open your company to upgrade the data. 

Final checks

To check everything is up and running, in Sage 50 Accounts click Help and About and check your version is v29.2.398.0.
