If you no longer use an account, marking it as inactive prevents you from creating transactions for that account.

You can't make a bank account inactive if it’s connected to a bank feed. You’ll need to disconnect your bank feed first.

 NOTE: To mark bank accounts as inactive, you need to upgrade to Sage Sole Trader Paid.

Mark the account as inactive

1. Select the profile icon in the top-left corner and choose Banking.
2. Select the bank account and choose Record account as inactive.
