Connect a bank feed
Description

A bank feed is a secure connection between your bank account and Sage Sole Trader.

Connecting to your online banking platform allows Sage Sole Trader to import your transactions automatically.

Before you begin

  • For added security, you'll need to re-enter your online bank credentials every 90 days
  • There’s no bank connection for a cash account
  • You'll need your bank log in credentials to set up your bank feed
  • Make sure you have access to the phone or email address registered with your bank's 2-factor authentication

NOTE:

To connect multiple bank feeds, upgrade to Sage Sole Trader paid.

 

Cause
Resolution
  1. Go to the profile icon in the top left corner and select Banking.
  2. Select the Connect button on your bank account.
    1. This will open the default browser on your device.
  3. Enter the name of your bank or credit card company and bank account type in the search box.
  4. Follow the steps to authorise the connection with your bank.
  5. You're redirected back to Sole Trader once you select Finish.
